Mac vs. PC? Its just not an issue in ABC.
In ABC Unified teacher platform choice just doesn't matter because the district supports both equally. In 2006-2007 the ABC Information and Technology department worked very hard to develop a solution to accommodate all end-users computer platform preference. While some districts force a choice one way or another, the end result in ABC was our country’s first enterprise wide implementation of a single server supporting both Macs and PC’s using virtualization technology. Efforts such as these pave the way for teachers to get to the business of teaching and learning without the technology choice getting in the way.
