Technology Integrated courses are not separate or additional technology courses required of students. Rather, they are integrated into students' normal schedule of course work. Teachers have voluntarily integrated technology into their course offerings allowing their courses to maintain a special denotation as "technology integrated" which is tracked and recorded on student transcripts.
The nature of the techgradrequirement design is for students to accumulate more than the minimum requirement of (3) technology integrated semester courses due to the fact that schools' master schedules have almost half of their course offerings as technology integrated in accordance with the new board policy addressing high school technology proficiency.
